Arun is the Co-founder and CEO of Symbiosis. A natural born problem solver, Arun was inspired to become an entrepreneur after playing a pivotal role in the networking startup, Next Generation Broadband. Arun co-founded his first startup, Kovue, in 2015. Kovue is an award winning social networking platform that enables users to simply find and watch OTT content they like, when they want, and together with the friends they choose.
Arun began Symbiosis in 2017 with his wife Subha, a physical therapist. The idea of Symbiosis took root in late night kitchen table discussions where Subha and Arun worked out a means to solve the ocean of problems that Subha, like many other healthcare professionals, faced when opening her own practice. Arun was able to incorporate his professional expertise in business, operations, and IT to create a revolutionary solution for healthcare providers who want to start and grow their practice.
Arun is a life member of Bethesda Chevy Chase Rescue Squad where he has served for more than 15 years as an EMT. Arun loves travel and the outdoors. He has backpacked throughout the world exploring the Americas, Africa, the great subcontinent of India, and beyond.Arun has a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, a Master’s degree in IT, and an MBA with a focus in entrepreneurship from the University of Maryland.
